Just wanted to let everyone know that there will be an outage of the mordant server here in the next few days. I may do everything on Thursday the 14th if I am feeling really ambitious, otherwise it will be later this week or early next week.

I will be moving mordant to hosting at Internet Exposure on our new kick ass rack mount server. This thing is a beast, here are some stats.

P4 2.8 Ghz, wih hyperthreading
1GB RAM
2 x 120GB SATA 150 hardrives, (mirrored)
Awesome rackmount case and motherboard, (SuperMicro 5014C-T)
Black
Latest Mandrakelinux 10.2
More kick ass stuff I forgot

This will get us a robust server that should last for a long time. Eventually I will probably ask for donations to cover the cost of this server, but it is not urgent that I get money for it right away.

Moving the server to Internet Exposure should speed up access times as well. Often it seemed like the Mankey Village connection had extremely high latency.

As you may have noticed there was an outage of the Mordant Empire servers. This was due to the fact that 4 days before I leave you all for awhile I got off my ass and transferred mordant to it's new kickass home.

Could everyone please check over their services they have on mordant and make sure that everything works as they expect? This is a pretty big jump that we are making and I may have forgoten something.

I will be letting everyone know about how to contribute to the server fund if they would like to.

As for the autoerotic asphxiation video I just tried to send you, it wouldn't go through, so I think mordantmail works fine.
